Islam Expo 3

Islam Expo 3 is so far the largest event exhibiting Islam and Islamic culture arranged by Muslims in Finland. The aim of the event is to also promote the co-existence and dialogue of different cultures and religions in Finland. The event, now organized for the third time, has grown into a three-day event and is hoped to attract a bigger audience than the previous ones.

The Main organizer of the event is the Islamic Council of Finland, the umbrella organization for Finnish Islamic organizations. The Expo programme has something to offer for everyone. There are interesting guest speakers from Finland and abroad, panel discussions, cultural programme, children´s programme, islamic music and themes introducing different Muslim cultures. During the Expo, it is also possible to attend short courses in, for instance, islamic art or courses designed for children. In the lively exhibition area, there are organizations and companies presenting their stands and different exhibitions to be seen. The event will be opened by a representative from state authorities. On Saturday evening, a cultural show will take place, with a variety of performers from both Finland and abroad performing Muslim music. Tickets to cultural show will cost 5 euros. No entrance fee is charged except for the Cultural Night programme.
